New Leader Welcomed by Mind Springs Health
Mind Springs Health, the largest provider of mental health and addiction treatment on the Western Slope, is proud to name Meredith T. Smith PsyD., LP as Program Director for our Summit County practice, located in Frisco, Colorado.
Dr. Smith, most recently with AllHealth Network, the community mental health center serving Arapahoe and Douglas Counties on the front range, brings nearly 20 years of experience in areas including trauma, resiliency, crisis intervention, psychological assessment and assertive community treatment. She holds a PsyD. Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL and is trained in numerous early childhood and parent-child interaction & play therapies.
“I am beyond excited to live and work in Summit County” says Dr. Smith, “and I am looking forward to collaborating with our community partners to enhance mental health services and support our community as a whole.”
Dr. Smith joins a busy office as, in addition to Summit Safe Haven social detox and the area’s only horticultural therapy and phase-based care recovery programs, over 1,800 individuals of all ages sought mental health and/or addiction services and were treated by Mind Springs Health in Frisco last fiscal year. This marks an increase of 12% over the previous year, and 34% over just 2 years ago.
Dr. Smith enjoys hikes with her Boston Terrier/Pug mix Brisket and is looking forward to snowboarding season. To reach her or any of our dedicated Summit County-based therapists and providers, please call the Mind Springs Health Frisco number at 970.668.3478
