Hospital House Supervisor

Job Description

Provides supervisory direction to direct-care staff and oversight in managing the milieu. Provides oversight of nursing care and ward clerk staff under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Provides oversight to admissions team, including assistance with nurse-to-nurse discussions, admission orders, and admission process. Through the Director of Nursing, the House Supervisor may have input into the hospital strategic planning, organizational goals, process & procedures, budgets, evaluation of nursing care, quality improvement, and risk management. May assist the Director of Nursing in the hiring and supervision of Nursing staff.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado; Minimum of two (2) years previous nursing experience in a hospital setting with supervisory experience in a psychiatric hospital or other mental health-related field required. Comprehensive nursing theory and practice with administrative and leadership abilities.
