Jules Rosen, MD

A native of New York City, Dr. Rosen is the CEO and CMO at Summit Behavioral Health Consultants, based in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Dr. Rosen served as Mind Springs Health’s Chief Medical Officer from August of 2013 to July of 2019. A noted speaker, author and researcher, Dr. Rosen was the Chief of Geriatric Psychiatry Services at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Western Psychiatric Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Rosen also completed his postgraduate work at the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Rosen has conducted research on pharmacological, as well as non-pharmacological, treatment of late-life depression and dementia. He has been honored with many awards, including annual listing in “Best Doctors in the U.S.” and has received the Educator of the Year Award from the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry. He was elected to Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Rosen enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, travel and playing the 5-string banjo.
