Glenwood Springs Outpatient Program Coordinator
Tammy Perry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the position of Program Coordinator in Glenwood Springs. She is known for her extensive work with children and their families extending four decades. Her other clinical interest is working with older adults helping them maneuver through their lives with Grace. She is skilled Child Play Therapy, Systems Family Therapy, Parent-Child Relationship Enhancement Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
She received her undergraduate degree in 1984 from the College of St. Theresa in Winona, MN. After working for five years at Zumbro Valley Mental Health, Rochester, MN with a Federal Grant to provide services to families who experienced violence, including domestic violence, incest, child abuse and neglect. In 1990 she completed her Graduate Social Work Degree from Denver University. Completing her internship at the Kempe Center, National Center for Child Abuse and Neglect. She started working for Mind Springs Health in 1990.
The mountains of Colorado are her solace. She enjoys walking her dog along the Roaring Fork River, spending time with her family and friends. Traveling to Hawaii, where she enjoys swimming in the ocean and hanging out with the sea turtles. She likes to go camping and being in the wilderness. Knitting and beading are also crafts she enjoys.
