Twyla earned her Master’s in Social Work from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. She has over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings. She is trained in EMDR Therapy, an outcomes-based modality to help heal from trauma. Twyla is also a registered yoga teacher and brings breath work and mindfulness into her work with clients. Twyla joined the Eagle County staff in 2012, having previously worked for Mind Springs Health in Mesa County. In her free time, Twyla enjoys the Colorado outdoors through skiing, hiking and backpacking, rock climbing and biking. She can also be found teaching yoga and taking time for her own yoga and meditation practice.
