Frisco Outpatient Clinician
Alison Festa is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Alison has experience providing individual and group therapy and is skilled in providing both traditional and telehealth counseling services. She is passionate about working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma, as well as grief and loss.
Alison primarily works from a person-centered, humanistic and trauma-informed perspective. She also is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Alison feels strongly that the counseling relationship is a critical tool that allows clients to connect with their own inner experience and ability to heal. She believes in creating a space of compassion and authenticity where clients can be vulnerable and explore their inner world without judgment to discover new avenues for growth. Alison is also fluent in Italian.
