Tom Gangel is a Regional Outreach Director for Mind Springs. He has been in the mental health field for 39 years and has worked in private practice, as a professional speaker (for sport and business performance and stress management), in a CA state hospital, as director of the forensic psychiatric unit of a mega jail in Houston and has been a professor at two universities and an adjunct instructor at a community college. He has served as a Program Director, Regional Director, and Operations Manager during his 24 years with Mind Springs Health.
Tom serves on the Board of Directors for the Northwest Colorado Community Health Partnership, a 501 c-3 organization serving 5 rural resort Colorado counties. He also is a member of the Collaborative Management Program Interagency Oversight Group of Routt and Rio Blanco Counties.
Tom also served on the boards of Reaching Everyone: Preventing Suicide (REPS, for 17 years) and The Yampa Valley Autism Program (for 19 years). He received his master’s in psychology from John F. Kennedy University in California.
Tom’s career has been dedicated to creating health and wellness for patients and communities.
