Tom Gangel, MA

Interim Program Director Steamboat Springs and Walden

Tom has been in the mental health field for over 25 years, working in private practice, hospitals and mental health centers. He has also been a professor at two universities. Tom joined the organization in 1999 and is committee chairman of the Behavioral Health of the Northwest Community Project, a group that has seen success in creating an ‘integrated community care’ mental health team serving primary care providers in Routt County. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yampa Valley Autism Project. Tom’s career has been dedicated to the effective delivery of mental health and substance abuse services.
