Grand Junction’s Mind Springs Health provides outpatient counseling and therapy for a wide range of behavioral health problems. We treat people of all ages and services are offered on an income-based sliding scale. We look forward to helping you and your loved ones on your journey to mental well being.
Each week, our therapy offices hold what we call Open Access Hours. During these times, anyone who is interested can come in and enroll for treatment.
When you come to Open Access Hours, you will be asked to fill out some paperwork, so that we can learn a bit about you. Then someone from our treatment team will meet with you to talk about your experiences and determine what kind of treatment would be best for you.
After you fill out some paperwork and meet with someone from the treatment team, we schedule your first therapy appointment.

To better provide increased collaborative support for our clients and the medical community, Mind Springs Health has full-time therapists at St. Mary’s Family Practice. These therapists are trained in integrated care models of treatment and provide brief, solution-focused behavioral intervention to patients. Further, therapists are readily able to easily consult with medical providers regarding mental/behavioral health issues.
Through a grant-funded partnership, Mind Springs Health and SD51 are undergoing efforts to decrease substance abuse and truancy in high school students. Mind Springs Health provides therapeutic support in terms of brief screening, supportive counseling, parent training, and participation in “Saturday School” – an opportunity to assist students with positive decision making and pro-social choices through experiential activities.
Financial support is available to qualifying families (CHP+ or uninsured) with children aged 0-6 seeking mental health treatment. Also, trainings in early childhood issues and observation/consultation with day cares/preschools can be arranged.
